Rumours!!!Sony Ericsson Idou to Arrive in October?

The Idou from Sony Ericsson might not be the must-have phone you were waiting for but we have a rumored date for it. The Idou should go on sale in October which means you will get plenty of time to adjust your budget for it. That impressive camera will definitely cost you an extra buck or two.

The phone will offer you a 3.5-inch touchscreen, a 12 megapixel camera, GPS and probably more smartphone-like features. According to Sony Ericsson officials the phone will ship “sometime in the second half of the year” but nobody is confirming the October launch date.

The Mobile Guru – Siduu!! :)

Since past 2 years as I started working on mobiles and testing applications, I experienced so many funny incidents where I could not stop myself laughing at the situation – sometimes they look so stupid and sometime too cute – but anyways these are causes of why most of my friends and family member contact me whenever they face any problem with their handsets.

Forget about past, I want to share today’s event where my brother in law gave me the title of “Mobile Guru BiBi” and off course except the BiBi part, the title was appraising for me.

My bro-in-law who recently got married called me today saying “Sidra! I don’t know what happened , I just checked my camera pictures in the cellphone and they are not there now – There was almost 250+ pictures and I am afraid I may have loose them – Is there any way I can get them back – They were too important” and just in 2 minutes I conclude it – however, meanwhile , I was looking at his gesture, he was about to cry 😛 because he collected many beautiful pictures of the northern areas of Pakistan since he and my sister have been visiting different places after getting married –

Khair, I just opened his Sony Ericsson K790i, took out the memory card and inserted it again – as soon as I plugged it in again and checked the pictured, they were there – and he was like “Thank you yaar; you saved my data” and gave me this title – J

Such appraises really works like fuel for me and I am very thankful to my ex-colleague and friends who really helped me learning a lot of things those others still don’t know – Thank You!

Starting with my own – Sony Ericsson K510i

My little but very close friend – small and compact, almost 100 x 45 x 18 mm and 80 grams heavy phone – with my favorite black color – The most user friendly phone I ever found so far – stylish in its own way – and it become more when I grab it and play with it using my 3 fingers: P – It has 1.3MP digital camera – It has simple and handy design.

The screen is a little small, not too satisfies for looking image and browser but has color depth of 16 million. Has GPRS, Bluetooth and Infra. The only disadvantage is it has 24mb internal memory and no slot for external memory. This really makes one annoy , but for a user like me who is more interested in mobile functionality except keeping heavy themes, ringtones ad music, this is an ideal handset – The MP3 player is much better than many other K-series handsets and has good sound quality. Another disadvantage with the phone that it has no FM radio functionality –

sonyericsson-k510-00-0Software and game can be downloaded in internet, work for java and jar. So far I have not seen so may games for this phone but you can still find many java based games at different portals available for providing mobile content. Youpark is one of those by the way –

The phone is not much expensive, I bought it in 7500 PK rupees almost 2 years back – and I am sure it will be much cheaper these days –

But overall, it is a good phone, a typical girlish phone with size like a chocolate bar and can easily be carried in your palm – I really like my phone and do not want to change it – until and unless I get any new phone very extra ordinary: P

Thank you SE-k510I for being my friend since past 2 years – you gave me so many good friends and good times – Thanks for that – J
