Nokia 3120 Classic with more Fun and Style

I already recommended this phone  as a perfect gift to present someone whom you really care and love a lot. To be very honest, this phone is a good combination of Nokia 6233 and Nokia 6300 . Price of both these handsetsis almost the same. Nokia 3120 classic basically has all th emissing featuires of both these phones individually and collectively, with improved battery, camera and flash. Thanks to Nokia for another great product.

Nokia E71 – Ultimate Business Device

Another QWERTY based smartphone by Nokia that is much responsive and quick – and becoming more popular and feasible because of its compatible size – As compared to E61, it is much more convenient. The E51 is a great entry level enterprise device, but lacks the power that a full size keyboard provides. The completed portfolio of 2nd generation Eseries devices (E51, E66, E71, E90) has a real sense of maturity about it. This comes from the hardware (variety across the range, build quality and feature set), but also the software – the enterprise applications, and crucially, the enterprise device management options have been significantly improved. The Nokia E71 and its sisters look set to give Nokia’s Enterprise rivals (Blackberry and Windows Mobile – and, yes, in time the iPhone) some sleepless nights.

10The key features include Quad-band GSM support, Landscape 2.36″ 16M color display of QVGA resolution, 3G with HSDPA 3.6Mbps support, Comfortable full QWERTY keypad, Convenient business-minded shortcut keys , Symbian 9.2 OS, S60 UI with FP1 (topped with some FP2 goodies) , 369 MHz ARM 11 CPU and 128 MB of SDRAM , Wi-Fi, Built-in GPS receiver, A-GPS, 3.15 megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash, 110 MB of internal memory, microSD expansion, ships with a 2GB card, Slimmest smartphone to-date, slimmest Wi-Fi and/or GPS handset to-date, Stainless steel casing, Standard 2.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP support, microUSB v2.0, FM radio, Remote Wipe , Provider-independent VoIP support, Infrared port , Great battery life , Office document editor , User-friendly Mode Switch for swapping two homescreen setups, Rich retail package and many more –

Besides many advantages, the few drawbacks this phone holds are: Below average camera performance, Video recording maxes out at QVGA@15fps, No dedicated camera key, Smaller display than its predecessor, Cheap-looking power key, No RDS for the FM radio – But overall Nokia E71 is considered as an ultimate business cellphone. There is no BlackBerry and Exchange client support in the phone,  which otherwise handles push email, contacts, appointments, and tasks flawlessly, doesn’t support email folders. That’s going to be a deal breaker for some, to be sure. But for casual business users , Nokia E71 is the best among all Nokia smartphones –

Ali, Senior Software Engineer at Mondo Pakistan, and friend of mine is planning to buy one soon – the phone is available in the locat market with price range Rs 34,000 – Rs 37,000 – I am sure he will get one soon – 🙂 InshaAllah –

LG KG 300 – Losing its value or still in demand?

LG KG 300 is one of the most commonly used phones in Asia. Beside its cheap price, it has many other cool specifications that usually Asian users need in their handsets – Like GPRS, Bluetooth, color display, FM coder, good battery and more memory space.

lg-kg300-00However, don’t know why, but I found many user reviews where I found them complaining about this phone – Few of them have complaints about poor battery, low sms memory, bad camera and themes –

“This Phone has both good and bad qualities. I am using this phone from since it was released (Dec’2006). I found one problem that its vibration mode is not working sometimes. Its battery life is poor. Even though there is 1 point of battery, the phone is turning of automatically after you receive any incoming call. It is having codec problem while playing an MP3 file. it plays only some mp3 files that are decoded according to this phones spec.” says Ram Mohan at a popular site.

Another annoyed user commented : this phone is very bad: poor camera; poor display; very bad sound quality; no themes; slow menu; slow Bluetooth speed; poor battery talk time

buy any nokia 3110c, 3500c, 6080 , 6151, these phone are of best quality, nokia, have all the features of all latest phones & available at the same price as of this ugly kp220.

A phone with 100 x 46 x 17 mm dimension and weight almost 89 grams – The phone has 60 MB shred memory along with GPRS, USB and Bluetooth port(v 1.2). The phone has stand by battery up to 250 hr and talk time up to 3 hours. However, many users still demands this phone – probably that’s the reason this phone is not available in local market.

Starting with my own – Sony Ericsson K510i

My little but very close friend – small and compact, almost 100 x 45 x 18 mm and 80 grams heavy phone – with my favorite black color – The most user friendly phone I ever found so far – stylish in its own way – and it become more when I grab it and play with it using my 3 fingers: P – It has 1.3MP digital camera – It has simple and handy design.

The screen is a little small, not too satisfies for looking image and browser but has color depth of 16 million. Has GPRS, Bluetooth and Infra. The only disadvantage is it has 24mb internal memory and no slot for external memory. This really makes one annoy , but for a user like me who is more interested in mobile functionality except keeping heavy themes, ringtones ad music, this is an ideal handset – The MP3 player is much better than many other K-series handsets and has good sound quality. Another disadvantage with the phone that it has no FM radio functionality –

sonyericsson-k510-00-0Software and game can be downloaded in internet, work for java and jar. So far I have not seen so may games for this phone but you can still find many java based games at different portals available for providing mobile content. Youpark is one of those by the way –

The phone is not much expensive, I bought it in 7500 PK rupees almost 2 years back – and I am sure it will be much cheaper these days –

But overall, it is a good phone, a typical girlish phone with size like a chocolate bar and can easily be carried in your palm – I really like my phone and do not want to change it – until and unless I get any new phone very extra ordinary: P

Thank you SE-k510I for being my friend since past 2 years – you gave me so many good friends and good times – Thanks for that – J
